This morning I woke up bright and early, even on my day off, to record the vlog for the 2nd day of VEDA. This is what I call DEDICATION. I am not a morning person at all, which you can see from the vlog.
Just a few side notes before we get to the video:
- Tomorrow is Travel Vlog Tuesday! I have a couple questions already but if you have one you’d like me to answer, please send me an email at Ashalah@ashalah.com or fill out the form here! It doesn’t have to be about travel, it can be about moving or anything else, really!
- I’m physically and mentally EXHAUSTED after this weekend and I’m not even sure why! I went to bed by ten on Friday night and was in bed (albeit VERY DRUNK) by 10:30 on Saturday night and last night I was in bed at eleven! So not sure what my deal is. I’m hoping a day of relaxation, cleaning and then a night catching up with my bestest Lauren when she gets into town tonight will do me some good.
- I’m reading My Life in France by Julia Childs and it is 1) Making me really want to live in Paris, and 2) Making me really want to eat everything in sight. This is not helping with the wanderlusting itch that is currently weaving it’s way through my body.
- You should note in the video that I am drinking out of a NYC mug and have a NYC shirt on. This was sort-of on purpose. Except not. I still may have a thing for my old city…
Alright, I guess it’s time to pull out the delays and present you with this video about Mornings, shot in the morning. I’m completely makeup-less and have bedhead. I apologize.

Oh man, I’m so not a morning person, either. Not only am I not able to function like a normal person, but I become and evil witch in the mornings. Some mornings are better than others, but usually I’d just rather go back to bed.
What kind of tea are you drinking?
Your vlog was so fricken cute, I absolutely loved it! I definitely am not as dedicated as to wake up earlier than normal to do a vlog. Major props.
