Today was my day off and boy, was I ambitious. I first went on a 10 mile walk and then I decided to PAINT MY LIVING ROOM. Well, at least one wall in my living room. There is this horrible wall that has a fireplace on it, I think it is covered in vinyl siding, and ever since we moved in here in February I have wanted to do something with that wall.
It took me six months but it is finally painted. Thanks, in part, to VEDA. The topic today was Do Something Creative. I took that to mean, PAINT YOUR WALL. It was good motivation, that’s for sure! I cannot stop looking at the before and after pictures. It’s amazing how different it looks! Seriously, if you ever hate your apartment, sick of your room, whatever, just repaint it. Totally different space! Of course you should hire me first to do a color consultation.
So now you can enjoy me painting a wall. Luckily, it’s set to a really fun song that is now my new favorite song! And at the end you get to see some of the wild weather we get out here in Colorado. I’m starting to get used to these afternoon thunderstorms!
Oh, one more thing. I accomplished something on my Bucket List!! Paint right up to the ceiling, something I’ve never done before! I’m so proud of myself for accomplishing this, especially since I’m pretty damn short and had to stand on my tiptoes to reach the last bit of the wall!

Go you! I’ve never painted a room by myself. I don’t know why it scares me so much. I’m quite impressed
Wow, you’re allowed to paint? Do you have to change it back when you move out?
Yep! The girl who owns it says that we can paint it whatever we like, if she doesn’t like it we will have to paint over it. Who wouldn’t love this change though?!
