Dandelions are considered a weed yet when we were children, we’d make wishes off of the seed pods as we blew them into the wind. I wonder if anyone does this anymore.

You better believe I do. There are some things from childhood that are just too good to give up — wishing on dandelions is one of them. Sometimes you just need to have something to believe in.

We called them dandelion clocks in England when I was little. The number of times you had to blow on it to get rid of all the little seed pods was supposed to be the time
