I’m wicked happy that you’re so in love with where you live. It sounds like a real dream (minus the dry, lol). I’m jealous, actually, that you live somewhere so free and beautiful. Not that MS isn’t beautiful, it is. It totally is. But it’s just not for me. I hope Walter and I can find someplace we feel free and happy someday.

Boulder sounds lovely, and it sounds like a good fit for you in your life at this moment. I love the comparison between the two, especially since I’ve always had such a soft spot in my heart for NYC.

Sounds like you encountered a bit of a culture shock with some of those differences, but they sound like good ones Colorado sounds like the midwest and being relaxed. I know I certainly enjoyed it when I was there last summer

Montana is the same. I think it would be lovely to buy a gorgeous dress and some stilettos and go out all dolled up, but my fellow Montanans would point and stare.

I love the Mountains, and the fresh air and the freedom. I lived in Olympia, WA, for a while, and my rent and costs were outrageous (especially after growing up in MT). I began to appreciate it here all over again after I moved back.

Ok I am REALLY intrigued by the lack of humidity!! My fiance and I have discussed possibly moving to FL or SC, but the humidity in the summer months, especially in FL, is just hellish.

I’m envious of your big move! We would really like to try somewhere new, but we have so much family here it would be really tough for us to pull it off. I know our families would have a really hard time with it. Guess I’ll have to live vicariously for now!

My greatest fear of leaving Chicago and moving out west is that I would go nuts. I’m already laid back as it is and I don’t know how much more laid back I can get. Whereas if I go east, all the type As would drive me nuts and I wish things would be more laid back.

I’m proud of you going to Boulder. It sounds like such a beautiful adventure. Keep the adventure going strong

Sounds pretty fantastic and like you’ve acclimated wonderfully. Personally I would take Boulder any day over NYC. I’m glad that you’re enjoying it there.
